JOEY MICELI AND LEXXE DELIVER A SOARING POP ANTHEM WITH NEW SINGLE “REMEDY” OUT JUNE 18
A Fierce, Emotional Ode to the Pain of One-Sided Love, Produced by Santino Cardinale
Los Angeles, CA — Joey Miceli returns with a powerful new single, “Remedy,” featuring LEXXE, out everywhere June 18. This cinematic and emotionally raw track is the first release from Miceli’s upcoming sophomore album Pretenders, arriving July 25.
Written in collaboration with Abigayle Oakley, “Remedy” chronicles the collapse of a friendship or relationship that felt painfully imbalanced. The result is an explosive duet anchored in vulnerability, massive synths, and driving guitar work.
“Sometimes that pain can be so massive,” Miceli shares. “I was more invested in people who couldn’t reciprocate. I knew once I reimagined the song with Santino, I heard LEXXE on it. I’m so lucky she was excited to bring it to life with me.”
LEXXE, known for her commanding stage presence and dark-pop sound, brings a piercing energy to the song’s climax, making “Remedy” a battle cry for anyone who’s ever felt emotionally unseen.
The single launches the Pretenders era—an album that examines the masks we wear in the pursuit of love, success, and validation. With “Remedy,” Miceli doesn’t just express heartbreak—he exposes the craving for connection at its most raw.
“Remedy” is available everywhere on June 18.
About Joey Miceli:
A singer-songwriter with an otherworldly touch, Joey’s musical journey began at the age of nine, and by eleven, he had already released his first single—an early spark from a soul that seemed born with something to say. Since then, his sound has evolved into something altogether singular: a genre-blurring blend of vulnerability and cinematic force, where sorrow dances with euphoria and softness carries its own weight.
Miceli’s music feels like a mirror held up to the most delicate parts of the human experience. Reflective and ethereal, his songs unravel the emotional knots of longing, identity, and self-worth—offering not answers, but resonance. He doesn’t just explore duality—he lives it, writing from the intersections of heartbreak and healing, fragility and fire.
But Joey is more than a voice—he’s a presence. An artist who creates not to impress, but to connect. In an industry obsessed with image and status, he offers something radical: sincerity. His mission is to be the role model he once needed—to remind anyone who’s ever felt small that their emotions are valid, their dreams are real, and their voice matters.
With each release, Joey Miceli carves deeper into his own truth—and in doing so, leaves space for others to find theirs. His music isn’t just heard; it’s felt. It lingers. It lifts. And most of all, it makes you feel less alone.
