Content Queens: Women Who are Killing the Digital Content Game

Her short-form videos are captivating. She dominates social media every time she drops a snippet lip-syncing her unreleased music. It’s safe to say Yung Baby Tate is a digital power player right now.

Her focus on art direction from GIRLS to her latest Eenie Meenie video has set her apart. In fact, I first listened to GIRLS years ago based solely on the captivating nature of her album cover, and of course kept listening based on talent. YBT is the Content Queen of the week (month? dare I say…year?) in my book.

BIA

BIA might be one of the most underrated content queens right now. While her songs continue to do well on TikTok, BIA herself does a great job of keeping up her Twitter brand online.

She’s also a great example of compelling press shoots that align perfectly with her constructed brand. BIA can we have some more please??

Lu Kala

Having her first of many, no doubt, viral moments as we speak, Lu Kala is poised to go very far. Will stunning visuals to match her jaw-dropping vocals, Lu is the fast-rising artist I personally am most excited about this year.

Her press shoots are impressive, a simple social media and/or google search of her name shows a portfolio more impressive than some artists who have been in the game for years. With this type of footing, I have no doubt Lu is going to go very far.

Kaycee Shakur

Another independent artist who has blown me away with the quality of her content lately. She most recently released her project Nu Moon, which was accompanied by a stunning album cover with a press shoot to match. If you’ve read even one of my previous articles, you know how crucial I think press shoots are.

Kaycee is also a prime example of what I like to call the roll-after. Continuing to promote Nu Moon months after her release, it’s no doubt she’s finding new fans every day. Well done, Kaycee.
