The track marks a bold evolution in ZAYLE's signature "Flower Bass" sound — a genre-defying blend of melodic pop, lofi textures, jazz, and trap that he's pioneered over his 13-year production career.
"Control" presents a haunting narrative of cosmic tragedy and personal responsibility. Through sparse, evocative lyrics "lost control / mission failure / wasted astro sailor / crews all dead / I tried help / I couldn't save em". ZAYLE crafts a pensive portrait of an astronaut grappling with catastrophic failure.
Produced entirely by ZAYLE with mastering by Jack Hentosh, "Control" showcases the artist's evolution from his early lofi roots to a more cinematic, emotionally complex sound.
